This 40mm Adjustable Aluminium Door Threshold Strip is designed to solve one of the most common flooring problems: uneven floor heights. Its pivoting, height-adjustable design allows the profile to raise, lower, or tilt, creating a smooth transition between different floor coverings without gaps or trip hazards.

Whether you’re joining carpet to laminate, vinyl to tile, or wood to LVT, this threshold adapts easily to variations in floor level, delivering a clean and professional finish.

Adjustable Clip System Explained

The threshold is supplied with both small and large clips, allowing you to customise the height and angle depending on your flooring combination. This flexible clip system makes it ideal for installations where floor levels are not perfectly aligned.

Once clipped into place, the cover locks securely onto the base rail, creating a firm, stable transition that remains neat under foot traffic.

Installation & Fitting:

The aluminium profile can be cut to length using a standard hacksaw, making on-site adjustments quick and easy. The base rail can be fixed to wood or concrete subfloors using screws or nails.

After fixing the base:

• Select the appropriate clip size
• Slide clips onto the cover
• Press firmly to lock into place
• A rubber mallet can be used to ensure a tight, secure fit.

Installer Tip:
If clips feel tight, briefly inserting a clip upside down and tapping lightly can help open the channel for smoother fitting.
